We appreciate your interest in our website and our company.

It is very important to us to protect your personal data in terms of its collection, processing and use on the occasion of your visit to our Internet presences or your order. Your data will be protected in the context of the legal provisions, in particular the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz = BDSG) as well as the German Telemedia Act (Telemediengesetz = TMG). Below you will find information on which data are collected during your visit on our websites and how they are used:

1. Collection and Processing of Data

Any access to our Internet presence and any retrieval of a file deposited on the websites will be logged by default. We will use such data at most for internal statistical purposes, market research or designing our telemedia in line with requirements by way of pseudonyms. The storage serves system-related purposes and internal statistical purposes. In this respect, date and time of access, web browser and requesting domain will be recorded in particular. In addition, the IP address of the requesting computer will be logged.

Further personal data will only be collected, if this information is provided voluntarily, e.g. in line with an enquiry or reservation.

2. Use and Disclosure of Personal Data

Any personal data that you provide us with will only be used to respond to your requests, for technical administration and for the purpose of completing and processing your order.

When registering for the newsletter, your email address is used for internal advertising and informational purposes, until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time. To do that, use a link provided in any newsletter.

Your personal data will only be passed on to third parties or otherwise transmitted, if this is required for the conclusion and performance of the contract.

The deletion of personal data stored is carried out, if you revoke your consent to the storage, if knowledge of the same is no longer necessary for the fulfillment of the purpose pursued with the storage, or if your storage is or will become inadmissible for other legal reasons.

3. Use of Cookies

On several pages we utilize cookies to make your visit to our Internet presence more enjoyable and to enable you to use certain functions. A cookie is a small data file, which will be transferred by us to your computer, when you are surfing on our pages. Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session-based” cookies. They do not remain on your computer. When you leave our website, the temporary cookie will also be discarded. With the help of the information gathered, we are able to analyze usage patterns and structures of our Internet presence. In this way we can continually optimize our Internet presence, by improving the contents or personalization and simplifying the usage. Other cookies remain on your computer so that we are able to recognize them again during your next visit. These are the so-called permanent cookies. With these cookies you are welcomed on our web page with your user name, and for subsequent orders you do not have to re-enter your password or fill out forms with your data.

Most browsers accept cookies by default. In the security settings, you can enable or disable both temporary and permanent cookies independently of each other. If you disable cookies, certain features of our Internet presence may not be operational and some pages may not be displayed correctly.

The data stored in our cookies are not linked to your personal data (name, address, etc.).

4. Google Analytics

Our websites use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google“). Google Analytics uses so-called cookies, text files, which are stored on your computer and allow an analysis of your website use. The information about your website is generated by the cookie and is normally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Due to the activation of IP anonymization on this website, your IP address, however, will be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states which are contracting parties to the agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases, the complete IP address will be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and will be truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activities and to provide further website- and Internet-related services to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data held by Google. You may prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser software settings; we would like to point out, however, that you will not be able in this case to use all functions of this website to their full extent where appropriate. Apart from that, you may prevent the recording to Google of the data generated by the cookie and related to your website usage (incl. your IP address) as well as the processing of these data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: [http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en].

5. Social Plugins – Facebook

Our Internet presences use Social Plugins (“Plugins”) of the social network Facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). The plugins are identifiable by one of the Facebook logos (white “f“ on blue tile or a “thumbs-up“ symbol) or are indicated with the additional text “Facebook social plugin”. The list and the look of the Facebook Social Plugins can be viewed here: [http://developers.facebook.com/plugins]

If you visit a web page of our Internet presences, containing such a plugin, your browser will establish a direct connection to Facebook servers. The plugin contents will be directly transferred by Facebook to your browser that will embed it into the web page. Therefore, we have no influence on the amount of data that Facebook collects with the help of this plugin, and thus inform you according to our state of knowledge:

As a result of plugin integration, Facebook will receive the information that you have accessed the corresponding page of our Internet presence. If you are logged in as a member of Facebook, Facebook is able to assign your visit to your Facebook account. If you interact with plugins, e.g. activate the Like button or enter a comment, the corresponding information will be transmitted directly from your browser to Facebook and saved there. Even if you are not a member of Facebook, there is the possibility that Facebook reveals your IP address and saves it.

For the purpose and scope of the data collection, the ongoing processing and use of the data by Facebook as well as your corresponding rights and setting options to protect your private sphere, please see the Facebook data protection information:[http://www.facebook.com/policy.php]

If you are not a Facebook member and do not want that Facebook collects data about you via our Internet presence and links them with your data stored with Facebook, you will have to log off from Facebook before visiting our Internet presence. If you do not wish Facebook to collect data about you via our Internet presence, you must log out from Facebook before visiting our website.
